According to the Northern Borders Health Affairs, over the first half of this year (2020), the home health care services have been provided to 781 beneficiaries. The specialized medical teams have conducted monthly and weekly field visits, providing health education services to patients and their families, through a range of rehabilitation and medical services.
Thus, the Patient Companion Program has served 432 beneficiaries and the Vision Screening Initiative has served 13 beneficiaries. Also, 41 patients have been transferred from home to the hospital's outpatient clinics and kidney centers, in addition to conducting a training program on basic clinical skills of nurses and doctors.
