Al-Jouf: Prince Mutaib Hospital- Sakakah Conducts over 480 Surgeries

Since COVID-19 pandemic began, Prince Meteb bin Abdulaziz Hospital- Sakakah has performed more than 480 surgical operations, including emergency cases, injuries, fractures, cochlear implants, life-saving, cosmetics and reconstructing amputated parts, with the implementation of all precautionary measures. Medical staff have been assigned at the operation department throughout the day; thus contributing to reducing the waiting time at the emergency department. 


Al-Jouf Health affairs continues providing the necessary medical and surgical services remotely, as a part of the initiatives launched during the pandemic. 

The hospital’s emergency department provides ambulatory services 24/7. It is enhanced with the state-of-the-art medical supplies, including CPR and ventilators. Through the triage system, the department can identify the degree of severity of emergency cases and identify patients in need of immediate action and giving priority to the less serious or non-emergency cases. The department is also enhanced with highly qualified nursing team to deal with the most serious cases and to provide excellent service to patients.
