MOH: Guide on Most Vulnerable Groups to COVID-19 Released

​​The Ministry of Health (MOH) has released a Guide on the Most Vulnerable Groups to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19); to provide them with the ways of prevention and necessary precautions. The guide, published by in several languages through its educational platform «Live Well», and its Twitter page, features important health tips for the elderly and patients with diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, chest and respiratory diseases, HIV, chronic kidney diseases, cancer, and obese people, in addition to pregnant and breastfeeding women. This guide touches on dealing with symptoms, ways of prevention, how to contact with 937-Service Center, as well as methods of protecting such most vulnerable groups.


Furthermore, the guide includes general health tips for the public, most prominently: Stay at home, avoid contacting with animals, continue taking medications, maintain hygiene, keep practicing physical activity, wear cloth masks when going out in public, keep a safe distance, do not share other kitchen tools, avoid mass gatherings, and others, in addition to special tips for such most vulnerable groups. Also, the guide also touches on FAQs with their answers, MOH’s e-applications, and how to benefit from them.
