The Healthcare Centers Affairs Department of Bani Malik Health Sector continues implementation of many precautions; to prevent the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). The sector formed two Rapid Intervention Teams (RITs) that have been trained and enhanced with necessary equipment; to assume their duties in the Program of Active Surveillance for COVID-19 in Expatriate Accommodation.
It is worth mentioning, the visual triage stations have screened 15,328 persons since the start of these measures. Through this Active Surveillance Program, the medical teams of Bani Malik Health Sector have conducted a number of visits to 22 houses, with 568 workers screened. In collaboration with the competent authorities in the governorate, one house (encompassing 21 workers) has been evacuated for non-compliance with health regulations, and the workers have been transferred to another house compatible with such health regulations.
