Northern Borders: Over 8,000 Screenings by Visual Triage Stations in Al-Uwayqilah

​​​According to the Northern Borders Health Affairs, since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, 8,544 screenings have been conducted through visual triage stations at the entry points of Al-Uwayqilah Governorate. This comes in continuation of the preventive and precautionary measures taken by the Affairs, with the participation of the relevant authorities and volunteers; to control the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).


“These visual triage stations come as part of the precautionary measures for early detection of risk factors and referring suspected cases to health facilities; so as to take the necessary measures according to the health guidelines on dealing with COVID-19 cases. The visual triage stations aims also to provide health education services to citizens and residents on how to use sterilizers, methods of hand washing, keeping safe distances from others, as well as avoiding mass gatherings,” the Affairs stated.
