Al-Rabiah: Doctors can Issue Prescriptions via Anaat App
26 March 2020

The Health Minister, Dr. Tawfiq bin FAwzan Al-Rabiah has announced that medical doctors can issue e-prescription in an authenticated manner via the Anaat app. He said that a patient can easily get his medicines dispensed from the nearest pharmacy participating in the system. The initiative comes to support doctors remotely and to maintain the safety of everyone, and in line with the precautionary measures to contain COVID-19.

It is noteworthy that Anaat app is a platform supervised by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS), with the aim of providing all e-services to health practitioners, such as the issuance of e-prescriptions by licensed doctors in the Kingdom. In addition, it is a social and educational platform through which health practitioners can communicate with each other and exchange scientific experiences.

The platform features a personal display for the practitioner containing a schedule that enables him to follow-up conferences, scientific symposiums, and workshops approved by SCHS.
