MOH's Tips for Patients with Chronic Diseases to Prevent COVID-19
18 March 2020

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has reiterated its call on patients with chronic diseases to wash their hands often with soap and water, to avoid crowded areas and to stay at home and don't go outside unless it is absolutely necessary. Such tips come as part of MOH's awareness campaigns to raise the awareness of all community members, to maintain their safety and to avoid infection with the respiratory viruses.

Through an Infographic published in its twitter page, MOH underlined the importance of abiding by healthy eating, exercising for half an hour three times a week or more, maintaining at least 1 meter distance between yourself and anyone with respiratory symptoms, covering your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow when you cough or sneeze.

MOH has called on all community members to back the fight against COVID-19, and to do their human and national role to curb its spread. It is also advised to take medications as prescribed by your doctor.

MOH called on everyone to contact the 937 Service Center for any COVID-19-associated inquiries, 24/7. It underlined the importance of abiding by its awareness guidelines to avoid viral infection and to maintain their health and safety, Allah willing.
