According to Jazan Health Affairs, over the past year (2019), emergency departments provided their medical services to 2,000,617 patients, with 960,231 at general clinics and 60,642 inpatients.
Also, the Affairs' hospitals performed 23,878 surgeries (14,687 major and 9,191 minor surgeries), and 6,229 one-day surgeries, as well as 7,927,065 lab tests, 699,003 radiology scans, and 20,486 births. During the same period, the hospitals received 37,155 patients at the endocrinology and diabetes centers and clinics and 74,158 at the rehabilitation centers, with a total number of 368,846 rehabilitation sessions.
