The committee concerned with following up on the status of the novel coronavirus held today (Friday) morning its 16th meeting headed by the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, with the attendance of the committee members who represent a number of relevant government sectors. They reviewed all reports and novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
The committee discussed the positive impact of the initiative of disclosing presence in Iran and its contribution to maintain the safety of the family and contacts of the infected. The initiative boosts the efforts exerted to curb the spread and outbreak of the virus.
The members of the committee emphasized the continuation of the precautionary measures implemented in the health institutions and follow-up them to take the necessary measures in lines with the current situation and outcomes of daily surveillance for global, regional or local risks.
They also discussed the importance of the commitment of all community members in dealing with the novel coronavirus and communicating with the 937 Center for any inquiries about COVID-19.
