King Abdulaziz Hospital-Jeddah, represented by the Academic Affairs and Training Department (Center of Clinical Skills and Simulation Lab), has obtained the accreditation of American Heart Association (AHA) for implementing «Get With The Guidelines®-Resuscitation (GWTG-R)» Program.
The Program aims to save lives of people from the risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA (inside and outside the hospital, and to improve results through assessment. It also aims to improve quality, information translation, and research, the matter which supports the creation and dissemination of new knowledge, the development of next-generation experiences, and the spread of evidence-based practice (EBP) of health practitioners in resuscitation during rescue operations.
Through activating this program, King Abdulaziz Hospital-Jeddah seeks to measure the competence of health practitioners before, during, and after resuscitation operations, then to analyze information for honing their skills and developing their performance; thus creating a generation that is practically and scientifically qualified in rescue operations.
