According Makkah Health Affairs, over the first three months of this year (1441H.), Makkah hospitals served 493,962 patients, with 213,946 outpatients, 226,517 emergencies, 15,800 inpatients, including 7,438 adults and 1,040 children.
“The hospitals performed 1,915 scheduled surgeries, 3,038 emergency surgeries, 3,565 birth cases, 1,487 endoscopies, 17,165 dialysis sessions, in addition to 467 cauterizations and 1,584 surgeries, as part of the One-day Surgeries Program,” stated the Affairs.
