Health Minister Launches «My Volunteer Health 3» Campaign Next Week

​On the occasion of the International Volunteer Day (IVD) celebrated annually on December 5th, His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, will launch next week the «My Volunteer Health 3» Campaign and the Healthcare Volunteer Strategy.


“The Ministry of Health (MOH) is working to spread the health volunteer culture among its employees, as well as serving society through its medical cities, hospitals, and healthcare centers, in terms implementing health volunteer initiatives with a social impact that meet health needs,” stated MOH.

MOH pointed out: “The campaign, through its three branches, aims to serve more than 300,000 beneficiaries, with 100,000 in therapeutic volunteer branch, 150,000 in educational volunteer branch, and 50,000 beneficiaries in supportive services branch”.

“During the campaign, the facilities of distinguishing health volunteer will be honored based on objective adopted criteria set out for all implemented initiatives. Five awards were allocated in the qualitative health initiatives track, five other awards in the primary healthcare centers and specialized centers track, in addition to three awards in the hospitals and medical cities track, in addition to three other awards in the departments branch,” added MOH.
