By Allah's Grace, over the past year, Prince Sultan Cardiac Center at King Khaled Hospital– Najran has successfully conducted 96 open-heart surgeries, an increase of 74.5% compared to 1439H.
According to Najran Health Affairs, the center has also conducted 1,885 diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterizations, at an increased rate of 30.5% compared to 1439H, with a 10% decrease in medical referrals to advanced centers outside the region. Also, the center has attracted 16 physicians specialized in cardiac surgery and catheterization. As a result of implementing MOH’s Performance Program «Adaa’», the center increased its specialized clinics to 32 clinics weekly, reduced the waiting time to only five days for cardiac clinics and increased patient satisfaction with the services provided by the center.
