According to Madinah Health Affairs, over the past year, King Fahad Hospital's emergency departments and outpatient clinics provided their comprehensive medical services to 258,412 patients, with 135,803 emergencies and 132,609 outpatients. Also, the hospital performed 4,683 surgeries, 144,274 x-ray examinations and 194,960 lab tests.
"During the same period, the hospital's King Abdulaziz Center for Kidney Patients performed 37,288 dialysis sessions, the Diabetes and Endocrinology Center served 48,841 patients, the Specialist Dental Center 80,521 and the Hematology and Oncology Unit 5,478 patients. In addition, the hospital conducted 5,698 visits to patients registered with the home medicine program", added the Affairs.
