The Ministry of Health (MOH) has underlined the importance of adherence to health precautions by Umrah performers when shaving. In an awareness infographic published on its twitter page within its campaign: «#Healthy_Umrah», MOH has advised Umrah performers not to share others’ personal tools or use alum after shaving.
Within the same vein, MOH has called on Umrah performers to be keen to select the licensed barber and to make sure that the barber washes his hands before shaving and uses a new disposable razor.
It is worth mentioning that such awareness-raising activities come in continuation of MOH's efforts to maintain the health and safety of Umrah performers, to promote health awareness, and to urge them to adopt healthy behaviors.
