On this occasion, the Governor announced the start of a new phase of health services in the region by launching eight advanced healthcare centers in addition to other six centers to be launched over the coming four months and an emergency tower project in the hospital.

He said that the development of the health and educational services in the region comes as an extension of the services provided to the Prophet's Mosque and its visitors, indicating that major health projects will be announced in the coming months. He confirmed that he would fully support all health and educational projects, from the public or private sectors, providing that they are high quality projects with distinguished services to beneficiaries.

By Allah's Grace, within few years, Madinah will be one of the leading cities in the provision of distinguished health services, adds the Governor.

For his part, the Health Minister thanked the Governor for his continuous support and follow-up of the health projects in the region and for creating a qualitative leap in the medical services provided for the region's citizens, pointing out to the Royal's approval to establish King Faisal Specialist Hospital, which will be inaugurated during the coming period.

Pointing out to the Governor's support for launching the eight new healthcare centers, Al-Rabiah said that the centers are enhanced with cutting-edge systems to enable patients to move between the healthcare centers with their data and medical procedures are available electronically. Also, he thanked Prince Faisal for his keenness to develop the emergency services through the emergency tower project.

It is noteworthy that the healthcare center in Al-Hijrah neighborhood has three general clinics, a vaccination clinic, and radiation, laboratory, sterilization and quality sections, as well as green spaces and outpatient rest areas. The center provides e-transaction services to ensure quick services to patients and maintain their personal data. The center serves around 6,700 families, and is expected to receive an average of 8,000 outpatients monthly and 360 outpatients daily. The center has 34 health staff including eight doctors and two family medicine specialists.
