According to Makkah Health Affairs, the Specialized Medical Center has been launched as part of the new primary healthcare centers in the region. The center features 4 family medicine clinics, two public clinics, one chronic disease clinic, one immunization clinic, one healthy child clinic, a maternity care clinic, in addition to a laboratory and a pharmacy.
