According to Asir Health Affairs, 16 new consultation clinics have been launched at 16 healthcare centers of 13 health sectors in a number of governorates, with a view to providing specialized and consultation services in these centers instead of referring patients to hospitals outpatient departments. These clinics will enable patients to have easy access to medical services, and will reduce waiting lists in public hospitals, Allah Willing.
“These clinics feature a number of specialties, including internal medicine, general surgery, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, E.N.T., pediatrics, urinary and cardiology in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Ahad Rafidah, and Mahail, These centers can receive patients refereed from other healthcare centers based on patient’s health condition,” stated the Affairs.
