Jazan: 354,550 Patients Served by Sabia General Hospital Last Year

​According to Jazan Health Affairs, over the past year (2018), Sabia General Hospital provided its health services to 354,550 patients, with 231,208 emergencies, 108,177 outpatients, and 9,259 inpatients.


“Over the same period, the hospital performed 2,877 major and minor surgeries in various specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, endoscopy, one-day surgery, and other therapeutic specialties. The hospital also performed 3,029 birth cases, 3,593 premarital screenings for both couples wishing to marry, 67,449 diagnostic radiology examinations, 752,608 laboratory tests, 22,200 rehabilitation sessions to 2,902 fe/male patients, and 2,816 medical home visits to patients at their homes in Sabia,” stated the Affairs.

The Affairs added that the hospital’s coordination department referred 3,286 patients to hospitals inside and outside the region, and received 1,941 cases. Besides, the hospitals received 3,598 blood donors.
