According to Jazan Health Affairs, over the past year, the emergency and outpatient clinics of Al-Amal and Psychiatric Hospital served more than 36,000 patients.
The Affairs added that the emergency department served 7,532 patients and outpatient clinics 29,017, and 55,256 lab screening (blood and chemical screening) and 1,113 X-ray examinations were conducted. During the same period, the medical rehabilitation section was enhanced to accommodate over 35 outpatients daily with 16,587 sessions, and 57,462 prescriptions were dispensed by pharmacy department and home medicine paid 2,682 visits, as well as 1,445 inpatients. As part of the hospital developmental works, 25 well-equipped beds were added at the inpatient (women section) bringing the total to 50 beds.
