The 2nd mobile healthcare model exhibition was launched yesterday (Tuesday), in the coastal city of Khobar, under the supervision of MOH's Vision Realization Office (VRO). It is a platform on health transformation program in general and healthcare model program in particular, with the aim of boosting understanding and showcasing the healthcare model program's achievements through the health clusters which implemented the model.
Also, the exhibition seeks to raise the awareness of visitors about the model's six categories: preventive care, chronic care, urgent care, mother and child care, selective care and palliative care through publications and success stories displayed on screens outside the exhibition for cases benefited from the model's categories.
Exhibition organizers interacted with visitors and answered their inquiries. A large number of visitors were attracted to the virtual reality experience provided by the exhibition where the visitor can use the virtual reality devices to visualize the health future after applying the healthcare model.
It is to be noted that the exhibition comes after the healthcare model forum held last December, one year after the model was launched by the Health Minister Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah. The healthcare model aims to design and implement a new style in healthcare provision to maintain health, not only to treat patients, and to provide high quality comprehensive healthcare at the right time and place.
