The Awareness Award «Wa3i», launched in its third season by the Ministry of Health (MOH) in partnership with Health Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), holds 6 specialized development workshops in 6 major gulf cities by elite of trainers. The Award features different branches: short films, motion graphics, photography, and infographics; with a view to developing the skills of professionals and amateurs in these branches.
The workshops are being held in Riyadh, Kuwait, Manama, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, and Jeddah. The first workshop was held in Riyadh and witnessed remarkable attendees, while the second one will be held today in Kuwait. Proceeding from the need for the community engagement in raising the health awareness, the Award Supervisory Committee has provided the opportunity for citizens and residents of GCC member states and Yemen to participate in those branches, in addition another branch allocated for schools of GCC member states and Yemen.
It is worth mentioning that MOH is currently receiving the works participating in the Award via
its website until February 10th, 2019. Also, over 50 winners will be awarded cash prizes of more than SR 1,0000,00, and the grand prize will be SR 150.000.
