According to the Northern Region Health Affairs, over the past year (2018), Jadidat Arar Hospital served more than 22,000 patients, with 20,000 at emergency department, 920 at internal medicine clinic, 437 at pediatric clinic, 533 at orthopedic clinic, and 441 cases at dental clinic.
“Over the past six months, the hospital served 26 male inpatients, 22 female inpatients, and 110 cases by visiting physicians. It also performed 2,571 lab tests, 580 minor surgeries, 1,037 radiology examinations, in addition to dispensing 21,550 medical prescriptions,” stated the Affairs.
It is worth mentioning that the Northern Borders Health Affairs features ten specialized medical centers (a cardiac center, three diabetes centers, three kidney centers, and three dental centers), as well as 11 hospitals with a 1,410-bed capacity, which are enhanced with a number of delicate medical specialties such as: neurosurgery, heart surgery, bariatric surgery, endoscopy, and others. Besides, the Affairs has 48 primary healthcare centers.
