The Ministry of Health (MOH) participation in this year's Janadriyah Festival is in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 and National Transformation Plan 2020, with a pavilion taking the form of a modern village featuring a virtual house, school, Mawid App, primary care, hospital, ambulatory services, medical city and e-prescription.
Each of these sections display to visitors the main therapeutic and preventive services including the first and second category of healthcare services, receiving and treating ambulatory and emergency cases (injuries, accidents, poisoning, heart attacks, respiratory problems and childbirth cases) and immediate intervention in accordance with the Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS). The services also include hospitalization services at adult ICU, neonatal ICU and various surgical operations.
In addition, they include outpatient clinics and support medical services such as: radiology and lab examinations, medical reports, employment reports, healthy marriage screening (premarital screening), driving license reports, as well as birth and death notification.
Through its pavilion, MOH showcases ambulatory transport services and first aid and disaster and crisis services. At the school booth, MOH displays its programs and initiatives with the aim of achieving its objectives by 2030 through student periodic medical examinations and early detection of diseases and treatment, as well as monitoring school environment and canteens, reducing obesity and tooth decay rates and raising health awareness among students. Moreover, MOH seeks to provide schools with clinics and mobile dental clinics. It is electronically linked with the Ministry of Education regarding the health of school students.
