The Ministry of Health (MOH) has started to receive the works participating in the Third Season of Awareness Award «Wa3i», which has been launched in partnership with Health Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Targeting citizens and residents of GCC states and Yemen, the Award features different branches: short films, photography, infographics, and motion graphics, in addition to another branch allocated for schools of the Kingdom, GCC member states, and Yemen. Besides, a special award, based on the public voting, will be granted for the top three winners of all branches.
This award, which is one of MOH’s initiatives, aims at raising health awareness of the community members, investing youth capabilities, and boosting partnership between the community and all those interested in health awareness across the Kingdom, GCC member states, and Yemen.
Over 50 winners will be awarded cash prizes of more than SR 1,0000,00, and the grand prize will be SR 150.000. Also, Application for Award will be available, via
its website, until February 10th.
It is worth mentioning that MOH seeks to be the body enhancing prevention and promoting health awareness; thus such awareness will be a key reason for leading a healthy life in the community. Increasing the average life expectancy from 74 to 80 years is one of MOH’s objectives under Saudi Vision 2030.
