According to Madinah Health Affairs, since the beginning of 2018, the emergency department of Ohud General Hospital received 247,954 patients. Recent statistics revealed that the hospital served 110,445 patients at outpatient clinics and 11,684 inpatients, performed 1,925 one-day surgeries and 3,931 major surgeries, and conducted 1,866 x-ray procedures, in addition to 530 patients at the ICU. In addition, the hospital served 27,350 patients at radiology sections and 1,729 at blood bank and conducted 1,134,495 lab tests.
According to the statistics, 9,688 patients visited the eye clinics, 20,193 cases seen at different clinics, 130,178 visited comprehensive screening clinics and 44,146 the eye emergency clinics.
On the other hand, the hospital served 1,832 beneficiaries in the field of medical rehabilitation, 1,702 patients in social services, and dispensed 155,875 prescriptions, in addition to 155,875 births, during the same period.
