Riyadh: 4-Phase Plan for Accreditation of 84 Primary Healthcare Centers

​​According to Riyadh Health Affairs, a 4-phase plan is underway to accredit the region's primary healthcare centers by the Saudi Central Board for accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI). The Affairs pointed out that 13 healthcare centers have been accredited as part of the first and second phases, 21 centers will be accredited in the 3rd phase and the 4th phase will include 50 centers in the region's cities and provinces.​

In the same vein, the Affairs said that it has signed a partnership agreement with the Institute of Public Administration to hold training courses to develop the capabilities and skills of directors of primary healthcare centers and increase the number of administrative competencies. It indicated that a development team comprising distinguished healthcare centers directors was formed to develop the rest of the region's healthcare centers. 

On the other hand, MOH has recently launched a campaign to introduce vaccination reminder service​ targeting parents across the Kingdom. The campaign comes in continuation of MOH's efforts to maintain children's health and protect them and all community members against diseases.

It is noteworthy that MOH has launched and activated several quality service programs with the aim of developing work mechanism and upgrading performance level; thus, contributing to improving health services provided for citizens and meet their satisfaction in line with the National Transformation Program 2020 towards achieving the Saudi Vision 2030.
