The National Tobacco Control Committee (NTCC) of Hafr Al-Batin Health Affairs General Directorate continued its inspection tours to monitor the violators of Tobacco Control Law at its health facilities, after completing the awareness activities and clarifying the regulations through the warning posters indicating a fine of 200 SAR against the violator.
The Affairs pointed out that the monitoring process is carried out through sudden tours, as well as through surveillance cameras to monitor employees or outpatients who violate the Tobacco Control Law. Through these tours, the smoker is introduced to the dangers and harmfulness of smoking, in addition to stimulating the smoker to quit smoking.
The Affairs called upon all workers in the health sector to comply with such laws and regulations on the prevention of smoking, which poses a danger to the health of the individual and society.
