The National Tobacco Control Committee (NTCC)-Al-Ahsa visited 28 health facilities, as part of its inspection tours to ensure their adherence to place «No-Smoking» signs and to distribute Anti-Smoking Law leaflets.
Al-Ahsa Health Affairs called upon all staff and outpatients at these facilities not to smoke inside these facilities or their or surrounding areas to avoid fines. Currently, it is being coordinated with concerned authorities to put the Law into effect at the outlets and start to implement it soon, Allah willing.
