The team of the National Tobacco Control Committee (NTCC) at Al-Jouf Health Affairs continued its inspection tours to ensure the compliance with the Anti-Smoking Law. Over this week, the team conducted 10 tours, covering a number of primary healthcare centers and private policlinics.
It is worth mentioning that Al-Jouf Health Affairs has earlier placed warning signs inside health facilities and their surrounding areas, which read: “A SR200 fine will be imposed on any person who smokes inside the facility and their surrounding area”. This law will be applied and fines will be imposed against anyone smokes inside the government facilities, hospitals, and healthcare centers.
