18 September 2018

A group of expatriates were caught practicing dentistry without license at a house, southeast of Jeddah, yesterday morning (Monday). The arrests came after a tip-off to police from a citizen.

According to Jeddah Health Affairs, the house's ground floor was equipped as a dental clinic for men, including dental devices for tooth extraction and cleaning, and the first floor for women. All medical equipment and devices violate the health regulations and cleanness and sterilization standards.
The Affairs said that 5 persons, including a woman, were caught posing as doctors, with no any licenses and in violation of Article 28 of "The Executive Regulations of Health Practice Law".
It stressed that it will spare no effort to go after any violator who manipulates patients' health and makes use of their health conditions. It called upon everyone to report any similar case via the 937-Service Center.
