Mina Al-Jisr Hospital has geared up with all medical equipment to receive patient pilgrims. It has been enhanced with a CT machine, with the possibility to use Intravenous Contrast Dye, in addition to ultrasound imaging (sonography). Also, the emergency beds have been increased to 35 beds, of which 29 beds were allocated for sunstrokes. Besides, the hospital features 3 isolation rooms for suspected respiratory infections, a small operating room, and a main operations department, as well as creating 5 negative pressure isolation rooms to complete the treatment and coordination procedures for referring patients with respiratory infections.
It is worth mentioning that the hospital provides 24/7 e-service through 11 clinics. By means of the electronic wristband read by barcode scanner, the patient can be registered and his/her vital signs data, diagnosis, treatment and medication can be identified. Besides, the hospital features 6 chairs for patients with kidney failure, and provides 24/7 dialysis service during the Hajj season.
