​King Abdullah Medical City Signs a Contract to Implement the Latest Health Information System

King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC) has signed a contract with a global company to implement and install a Health Information System, to enable the city to assume its leading role in providing health care services using the state-of-the-art technology worldwide. KAMC is the single reference in the Western Coast for delicate medical specialties, including cardiac, tumor, neurological science, surgical specialties, as well as specialized services during Hajj Season for pilgrims.
 
With the latest version of InterSystems TrakCare (2018), the City seeks to have a leading, internationally recognized, highly efficient and scalable health information system to cover various facilities, to meet all the City's healthcare services needs in line with its futuristic vision, and to enable the City to secure HIMSS Stage 6, then HIMSS Stage 7 consecutively. 
 
This system, currently used in hospitals and health facilities of 25 countries worldwide, is one of the key advanced unified health systems yo meet the local needs. It is expected to boost KAMC's healthcare services, in compliance with primary healthcare standards, while adopting the international best practices.
