Over 130,000 Patients Served by Al-Qurayyat Hospitals in 3 Months

According to recent statistical data disseminated by Al-Qurayyat Health Affairs, during the past three months, the outpatient clinics and emergency departments of Al-Qurayyat hospitals served over 130,000 patients. The statistic included Al-Qurayyat General Hospital (with 13,838 cases at clinics, 65,102 at emergency department), Mental Health Hospital (2,478 at clinics, 168 at emergency department), King Faisal Hospital (5,914 at clinics, 30,865 at emergency department), Al-Hadithah General Hospital (574 at clinics, 3,198 at emergency department), and Al-Issawiya Hospital (4,775 at clinics, 5,923 cases at emergency department).

 
 It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Health (MOH) is currently implementing MOH's Performance Program, which covers 70 main hospitals and aims to boost productivity, performance quality and efficiency of health services in hospitals. The program features over 40 indicators to measure the performance of seven key therapeutic aspects, including emergency, clinics, surgeries, hospitalization, ICU, radiology and labs. The program also aims to develop the skills of health professionals to use the indicators and to identify performance improvement potentials, in compliance with patient safety and quality standards.
