Hail Health Affairs: Developmental Projects for Health Facilities

 ​According to Hail Health Affairs has implemented 10 developmental projects in its health facilities over the past year (1438H.). Currently, additional 10 constructive and developmental projects are underway this year (1439H.) Last year’s projects included the development of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Maternity and Children Hospital, the 2nd phase of ICU - King Khalid Hospital, Al-shamli General Hospital, Al-Sulaimi Hospital, as well as the security and safety systems in both Maternity and Children Hospital and Hail General Hospital.

It is noted that Hail Health Affairs is currently completing a number of health development projects during the current year (1439H.), which will contribute to improving and promoting health services provided to patients, Allah Willing. These projects feature establishing a dental center (with a 50-bed capacity) and 18 healthcare centers in the region, in addition to the expansion of the outpatient clinics building - King Khalid Hospital, as well as 13 developmental projects for a number of health facilities.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health (MOH) is currently implementing MOH's Performance Program, which aims to boost productivity, performance quality and efficiency of health services in hospitals. The program is in line with the strategic objectives of the National Transformation Plan 2020 towards achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The program covers 70 hospitals and features over 40 indicators to measure the performance of seven key therapeutic aspects, which have positively reduced the waiting times.
