King Khalid Hospital- Hail: 40-Year-Old Lady Saved by Quick Medical Intervention

By Allah's Grace, a surgical team at King Khalid Hospital- Hail has successfully saved the life of a woman in her 40s who was brought to the emergency department with abdominal injury. Immediately, she was transferred to the operating room. Following the operation, her condition stabilized and currently she is under observation by the medical team as per the treatment plan.

 
The 245-bed hospital is the leading reference hospital in the region. Recently the operation department's three rooms have been developed and equipped with the cutting-edge appliances, to implement the hospital's strategic plan to boost the quality and quantity of surgeries. The operation department also includes a well-equipped recovery room. 


It is noted that the Ministry of Health (MOH) is currently implementing MOH's Performance Program, which aims to boost productivity, performance quality and efficiency of health services in hospitals. The program is in line with the National Transformation Plan 2020 towards achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The program covers 70 hospitals and features over 40 indicators to measure the performance of seven key therapeutic aspects, which have positively reduced the waiting times.
