Afif General Hospital Obtains CBAHI Accreditation

Afif General Hospital has obtained the accreditation of the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI), after it has successfully met the accreditation standards.

 

 
According to Riyadh Health Affairs, the hospital provided its services, during last year, to around 194,723 beneficiaries, including 29,493 at inpatients departments, 111,142 at emergency departments and 54,088 at outpatient clinics. In addition, home medicine department made about 1.086 household visits, serving 142 individuals.

 

The hospital provides its health services to 150,000 persons on a wide geographical area including more than 180 villages and hamlets in Affif Province. The hospital has 31 health centers at across the province. The centers on highways operate 24/7. The 130-bed hospital features an elite of outstanding medical staff. 

 

 
It is noteworthy that the MOH has launched a daily specialization-based e-Waiting List for surgical operations on its online portal. The list features the MOH's hospitals, along with surgical specializations and corresponding waiting days respectively. The list also includes five levels of waiting days, from one to 180 days.

 

By launching this initiative, MOH aims to update all patients and beneficiaries of services provided by its health facilities on the developmental efforts to boost performance levels, and to provide high quality service to satisfy and meet the health needs of citizens.
