In an advanced and unique initiative to serve the people and centers of the governorate, Al-Qunfudhah Health Affairs has launched a quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR) machine to be used in laboratories and blood banks. This machine is important to help the treating physician determine the patient's response to medication and treatment, and make decisions faster for patient’s interest, rather than referring samples to hi-tech laboratories outside the governorate. Thus, this machine will save patients the burden of traveling, ensure rapid diagnosis, and provide them with facility-based service.
