Ahad Rufaidah Hospital conducted a thyroid right lobectomy surgery to a 50-year-old woman. She was earlier referred from Khamis Mushayt Hospital, while suffering from thyroid nodule, causing pressure on trachea. After due lab tests, x-rays and clinical examination, she was diagnosed with nodule (sized 5x4 cm) in the right lobe of thyroid gland. Then, a nodule biopsy was examined and found to be benign. Thank Allah, the thyroid nodule was removed without any complications.
