Najran Maternity and Children Hospital successfully conducted an ex-lap (exploratory laparotomy), removed an abdominal hematoma, and transfused sufficient blood to a lady with trauma, acute hypotension and tachycardia. By Allah's Grace, her blood circulation was stabilized and her life was saved. The patient was followed up and her vital signs improved.
Najran Maternity emergency received the patient. Her medical history showed that she already gave birth 10 days ago. After due medical, lap and radiological checks, she was diagnosed with Broad ligament - Para vaginal Hematoma.
Notably, the incidence of such cases after natural birth is very rare (1 per 20,000-35,000 birth cases).
