(Jeddah Health Affairs): Over 253 Pilgrims Checked at Health Control Centers

According to Jeddah Health Affairs, since the beginning of this year's Hajj Season, about 253, 450 pilgrims have been checked so far at the health control centers of King Abdulaziz International Airport and Jeddah Islamic Seaport.
 
Also, 86,704 pilgrims have been vaccinated against polio. 213,126 pilgrims have received meningitis vaccine. 62,255 pilgrims have been given preventive vaccines. The airport's health control center has provided outpatient therapeutic services to 10,877 pilgrims and seasonal staff. Also, 39 outpatients have been served by the health control center of Jeddah Islamic Seaport. On the other hand, a 70-years-old pilgrim has had a C.P.R., while the health clearance officers have cleared 454 flights and 237 vessels.
 
In the same vein, both centers have been enhanced with medical, technical and administrative professionals in all fields and groups, who work 24/7 during Hajj Season. Primary isolation rooms have been prepared in medical centers, hi-tech C.P.R clinics have been provided, and isolation rooms with air purifying systems have been creaated in all service centers for pilgrims.
