10 August 2017
According to Al-Baha Health Affairs, a team of cardiologists of Al-Baha Cardiological Center at King Fahd Hospital has successfully conducted the first cardiac catheterization, after equipping the center - in three months - with latest medical appliances, and enhancing it with highly qualified professionals. By Allah's Grace, the center has made various diagnostic and treatment procedures, and installed several stents according to the state-of-the-art cardiological advancements.

Remarkably, this center is an integral part of King Fahd Hospital's system, which features a hi-tech catheterization lab.

In the same vein, MOH has commissioned an integrated nursing staff to be trained at Cardiac Centers of Jeddah and Riyadh.  Also, highly experienced consultants in cardiac cath., diagnostic and treatment cath and open heart surgeries have been recruited.

The center features 40 beds, two up-to-date operation rooms, in addition to a diagnostic and treatment cath room. MOH seeks to increase the hospitals' bed capacity to 60 beds, as part of the Al-Baha Cardiological Center's comprehensive developmental plan.
