Al-Qurayyat Hospital Saves a Child's Eyesight
03 August 2017
A medical team of Al-Qurayyat General Hospital has successfully treated a 2 years old child who suffered from blindness, lack of concentration and irregular breastfeeding. The child was hospitalized and medically checked. Hence, she was diagnosed with increased intracranial cerebral fluid pressure.
After intracranial C.T., doctors decided a cerebral fluid biopsy to reduce intracranial pressure on the optic nerve. Tow samples have been taken so far.  Also, two MRI scans have been done to detect acute C.V.A. By Allah’s Grace, the child has improved, restored her eyesight and is still under treatment and follow-up.
