CT Scanner Launched at Al-Eis Hospital
03 August 2017
According to Madinah Health Affairs General Directorate, a computed tomography (CT) scanner has been launched at Al-Eis Hospital. Using the machine, the patient is scanned based on the diagnosis of the treating physician. Then, the scans are sent to Ohud  General Hospital, so that the CT specialist (radiologist) or competent consultant can write a report on the findings, to be submitted afterwards to Al-Eis Hospital. Accordingly, the physician can do the needful.

It is worth mentioning that the CT scanner uses X-rays to accurately make detailed images (or scans) of parts of the body; to identify the part required for examination.
