The team of surgery department at King Khaled Hospital – Najran has managed to put an end to several years of suffering for a youth with chronic abdominal pains, undernutrition, and weight loss. Checking the patient, he was diagnosed with a Hepatic Cyst sized 15x12cm, causing pressure on stomach and the bile channels, hyper liver functions and Hyperbilirubinemia.
Thank Allah the patient has had a successful laparoscopic hepatic cystectomy, where the cyst has been removed and its attachment to bile channels has been severed.
After surgery, the patient has received all necessary healthcare services in the inpatient ward. He is now in good health with improved weight and better blood levels.
