More than 24,000 Visitors Benefited from the Services of Healthcare Centers Surrounding the Prophet's Mosque

The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that its healthcare centers surrounding the Al-Masjid An-Nabawī (the Prophet's Mosque) have provided their health services to a number of 24,453 visitors of the mosque over the first week of the current month.
 
The MOH, represented by Madina Health Affairs General Directorate, is implementing an integrated plan to provide healthcare services to visitors of the Prophet's Mosque around the clock since the beginning of Ramadan through qualified medical cadres and medical equipment in its hospitals, in addition to the primary healthcare centers and those healthcare centers surrounding the Prophet's Mosque.
 
The MOH pointed out that the cumulative statistics of health services at Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz Airport in Madina shows that the total number of those pilgrims benefited from these services until yesterday, Sunday, amounted to 1,086,792 persons. It went on adding that the number of those pilgrims given the preventive drugs amounted to 90,357 persons and those pilgrims given Oral polio vaccine (OPV) amounted to 217,335 persons, while the number of those pilgrims, who have been verified that they got meningitis, amounted to 1,012,057 persons.
 
Within the same vein, the MOH underlined that during the same period Al-Safiyah Healthcare Center received a number of 22,078 cases and referred three other cases, and Bab Al-Majidi Seasonal Healthcare Center received a number of 782 cases and referred four other cases, while Bab Jibril Healthcare Center received a number of 1,593 cases and referred six other cases to hospitals.
