The anti-smoking clinics at healthcare centers and hospitals in Riyadh have received more than 7,000 Patients since the beginning of this year (1438H). The anti-smoking clinics, totaling 31 clinics at the health centers and hospitals inside and outside Riyadh, offer therapeutic services for those patients who want to quit smoking. A treatment plan has been developed for the patient for a period of 3 months, after which he is considered a former smoker (or quitter).
It is worth mentioning that the program aims to protect community members from the tobacco epidemic and reduce the rate of its use among various segments of society, especially young people.
