Thanks to Allah, a medical team at King Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital in Al-Jouf has successfully conducted two tumor removal surgeries to two ladies (aged 55 and 68 years), one of whom was suffering from colon cancer and the other one was suffering from rectal cancer. They have undergone the medical examinations and required tests, which showed the importance of surgical intervention. Thus, the surgical team has removed the tumors by endoscopy, after conducting a careful examination to identify the tumors places, without any complications or hemorrhage. The two patients have been discharged from the hospital and their health status are stable, May Allah be praised.
It is worth mentioning that the digestive endoscopy unit has been completed, as it accommodates all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and it is reckoned a center for referring patients to the specialist hospital in Al-Jouf.
