MOH Warns Against Carelessness about Having Children Vaccinated
02 May 2017
The Ministry of Health (MOH) has warned, through an awareness infograph published on its Twitter account, against the carelessness about having children vaccinated, the matter which may lead to the incidence of some diseases such as measles, chickenpox, hepatitis B, meningitis, tetanus, rotavirus, rubella, diphtheria, mumps and poliomyelitis.

Within the same vein, the MOH has pointed out that vaccination is immunosuppression, in order to protect the body from certain germs, and it is a safe and an effective way to prevent the real disease, given that vaccines are given by injection or orally. It is worth mentioning that these activities come as part of the awareness-raising efforts carried out by the MOH within the framework of the awareness program dubbed: “Your Child is Your Responsibility”; in an endeavor to maintain the health and safety of children, and to educate parents on the importance of vaccinating their children.
