A medical team at Maternity and Children Hospital in Najran has conducted a surgery for the first time and managed to relieve the pain of a woman, who had been suffering from difficulty in excretion and lower abdominal and back pain; due to third-degree prolapsed uterus. The woman had earlier undergone a vaginal repair at a healthcare center, and then she visited the Gynecology Clinic at Maternity and Children Hospital in Najran, where a gynecology consultant explained her health status and the available treatment options to her.
Due to the patient’s desire not to remove the womb (uterus) for maintaining her reproductive capacity, a surgery had been conducted to her for pushing up and stabilizing the uterus in the spinal cord. Thanks to Allah, the surgery has been crowned with success and the patient has been discharged from the hospital in a stable health condition and satisfaction with the medical service provided to her.
